This workshop provides mature students with basic information needed to recognize the various mental health struggles that exist in one's life and how to respond and use appropriate resources available on campus.

The learning objectives of this session include:

• Gaining a better understanding of the different health concerns facing York university students and students across Canada;
• Increased awareness of some situations you may encounter as a mature student;
• You will learn how to identify certain mental health issues and/or distress and what appropriate resources are available to you on and off campus;
• Discuss ways to take care of yourself.
